HSREC was developed to provide a platform to foster a community among students, faculty and alumni. In addition, HSREC’s purpose is to aid students in the various areas of their career development during and after their time at Harvard. In support of this, the member benefits include access to mentor programs, brown bag lunches, training programs, real estate competitions, professional conferences, field visits, symposiums, speakers and the Harvard Real Estate Career Fair.

HSREC Grants Mentor Program
Find out more about the HSREC grants, which are awarded each year to Harvard students that exemplify excellence in their contributions to real estate and urban development at Harvard REAI offers a mentoring program to connect Harvard real estate alumni and students. This program complements the existing curriculum by providing an opportunity for students to obtain advice about topics ranging from professional development to personal research.


Real Estate Competitions Real Estate Scholarships
Each year there are a number of competitions that are available for students to participate in. Harvard has previously had winners in the annual Urban Land Institute competition and others. REAI
The Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University (REAI) is an interfaculty, interdisciplinary effort to raise the profile of real estate research and education across the University. REAI is led by a Core Faculty representing five Harvard schools; an International Advisory Board of prominent real estate leaders from around the world; and the Alumni Advisory Board, which directs the efforts of the Friends of Real Estate (FORE), an organization for alumni involved in the practice and study of real estate.
