The Harvard Student Real Estate Consortium (HSREC) Grant was designed to honor students who exemplify excellence in contribution to Harvard real estate and urban development. Each year there will be five (5) awards available totalling $1000 each that can be awarded individually or divided among teams.
Please be creative and describe in your application why you feel you are deserving of an HSREC grant. Examples of contributions could be:
- Active members of Real Estate Clubs
- Students who participated in competitions or tv shows and raised the profile of real estate and urban development at Harvard University
- Interdisciplinary conference or speaker organization for the Harvard community.
DEADLINE: The deadline has passed for 2009. Stay tuned for 2010 deadlines, which will be in the fall of 2010.
Please make sure the following items are included in your application package and follow all instructions as written on the HSREC Application Form.
- Completed and signed HSREC Founders Award Application Form
- Sheet A -- Personal Statement
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation from:
- One from a Harvard Professor or Administrator
- One from a Harvard Community Student Leader
IMPORTANT NOTE
All applications must be received in the REAI offices located at 7 Sumner Road, Room 103 by close of business on the day of the deadline. E-mails or faxes will not be accepted. No notification of receipt will be sent to applicants; therefore, it is recommended that applications be sent by registered mail, FedEx, or other means that allows the sender to track the status of the material.
